Well, folks, it's time for me to get back to writing as a form of a portfolio. I've done my own projects and exercises over the past few years, but I am now feeling I want to take some steps to becoming a published writer. That means more work, and I have to rise to the occasion. Thankfully, there's quite a bit I have written which can be polished, slightly, and shared on this blog.
To get everyone updated on my writing, however, I'm going to start posting my emails from my mission - which is already complete - and sharing them. I'll share my entertaining portions, and hopefully, this will turn into a blog worth reading.
Here's links to the first two emails I've posted:
Did You Know I'm a Hornet?
To My Dog Whom I Missed
If you doubt the entertainment factor of my emails, I would challenge you to read one and ask yourself, "Is this your average letter home from a missionary?" If you still don't find it worth your time, worry not! I will accompany my emails with new work, such as this one. After I've finished posting my mission emails, I'll have developed more consistency. I then intend to include a different form of weekly or bi-weekly post, but I'll fight that battle when it comes.

I've spent most of my life hoping to write professionally, but it occurred to me that such a goal is more difficult to accomplish as a closet writer. It's good to get reviews, comments, and a wider reader base. If you find you appreciate what I produce, please feel free to share or quote them. It's not my intention to be quiet.
